Vitality Max is the name of the items that raises Tomba's vitality in the first game. They can be found inside treasure chests and as rewards in some events. There is a total of 12 Vitality Maxes in the game.
Each Vitality Max +1 increases Tomba's vitality with one unit. The maximum amount of units is 8, but Tomba must obtain the Golden Bowl in order to expand it to 16 pieces. All Vitality Maxes that has been collected before getting the Golden Bowl will be applied then.

|Forest of 100 Flowers||Inside a treasure chest above the entrance to Wobbly Wharf slightly to the left.|
|Stormy Mountain||Inside a 1,000,000 year old treasure chest.|
|Haunted Mansion||Acquired from a thief after clearing The Haunted Mansion.|
|Baccus Village||Reward for completing Death Fruit Juice.|
|Dwarf Village||Reward for completing Something's Cookin'?.|
|Village of All Beginnings||Reward for completing Take Two of These.|
|The Mermaid's Singing Rock||Reward for completing I Want a Bronze Medal.|
|Lava Caves||Inside a 1,000 year old treasure chest near the entrance to Phoenix's Nest.|
|Masakari Jungle||Inside a treasure chest beside the tall palm tree next to the entrance to Y-crossing.|
|Trick Village||Inside a 10,000 year old treasure chest underwater.|
|Underground Maze||Received from the Blue Fortune Teller.|
