Zippo (スカラ, Sukara) is a Pento-bug that resides in Tomba's hair during the second game and often speaks for him, since Tomba does not speak. He resembles a blue and orange-colored lady bug with motorcycle goggles. He is voiced by Peter Kepler.

Zippo is introduced in the second game as Tomba's sidekick (along with Charles). Zippo is a Jiminy Cricket-type character who follows Tomba in his adventures and stays mostly in his hair during the game. He is well known among the citizens of the Coal-Mining Town and is also friends with Tabby and Charles.
